Committee Bylaws
This committee is concerned with the defense of academic freedom and the free expression of faculty and with promoting academic excellence. It recommends and reviews policies concerning requirements for admission, graduation and academic standards.
Each department may nominate one faculty member for service on the Academic Freedom and Standards Committee. The Faculty Senate will select from these nominees eight (8) faculty members to serve on the committee.
Submit Referrals
Faculty may submit requests to the Committee to address topics that arise and fall under their purview. You may submit any such requests, or any relevant information, to the committee using the link below.
