Committee Bylaws
This committee makes recommendations to the Faculty Senate and appropriate administrative official(s) concerning policies and priorities for physical facilities, including buildings, equipment, and land acquisition and use.
Each Department may nominate one (1) faculty member for service on the Facilities Planning Committee. The committee shall consist of one (1) faculty member elected from and by the Faculty Senate; six (6) members elected by the Faculty Senate from a list of departmental nominees; one (1) administrative member appointed by the Chancellor, one (1) student selected by the Student Council, one (1) graduate student selected by the Council of Graduate Students, and one (1) non-voting member selected by the Associate Vice Chancellor of Facility Planning and Operations. Non-faculty committee members shall be elected or appointed annually.
