Committee Bylaws
This committee, in conjunction with the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation, is concerned with the formulation and implementation of policies and procedures related to intellectual property. It reviews and makes recommendations to the Faculty Senate, Chancellor and Provost on patent and copyright matters.
The committee consists of seven (7) members. Six (6) are faculty members elected by the Faculty Senate, and one (1) is an administrative member appointed annually by the Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation. Priority for nominated members should be those with patent and/or copyright experience.
